Rule 22
License To Be Obtained To Collect The Specimen (sample) Or To Catch Or To Hunt The Wildlife Or Birds
(1) Any person desiring to
catch or hunt any wildlife or birds or to collect any other insects,
bacteria, fish or any natural products for the scientific research shall
submit an application before the Chief.
(2) If the person submitting the application pursuant to Sub-rule
(1) 10has been the official of any recognized academic institution or zoo
or scientific laboratory and If it has been believed that such a person can
catch or take care in the following way, the Chief may issue a license in
the case of other wildlife or birds except than those mentioned in
Schedule -1 of the Act, to hunt the concerned wildlife or birds or to
catch the insects or bacteria by taking the fees as pursuant to
Schedule -2.
(a) If the applicant will make the supervision of the
activity for catching or collecting of the concerned
wildlife, birds or insects, bacteria etc. by attending
him/her self or by sending an expert representative
for that job,
(b) If the technique for catching the, concerned wildlife
or birds has been considered appropriate and not
causing more torture than that has to be required,
(c) If have the ability to make an appropriate care to
transfer the caught wildlife or birds.
